Mountaineers for Velebit Mountain
1998Velebit Mountain biosphere reserve as the only one in Croatia was registered with UNESCO Ecological sector and the MAB Programme for twenty years. Statutary Framework of the World Network of Biosphere Reserves defines minimal criteria for nature conservation which would be seriously offended with potential construction of the coal-powered energy plant.
