ABSTRACT Objectives This randomized clinical study compared the profilometric measurements of the buccal tissue volume at sites augmented using a volume‐stable collagen matrix (VCMX) or connective tissue graft (CTG) simultaneously to implant placement in the presence of small buccal bone dehiscence (SBBD ≤ 3 mm).

Treatment of patients suffering from xerostomia can be a challenge and more so in the completely edentulous. The difficulties encountered can be troublesome and at times may lead to complete failure of the prosthesis. Xerostomia may occur due to a number of reasons. Here is a report of an attempt at the fabrication of complete denture in one such case.
