Recent Advances in Wide‐Bandgap Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Ubiquitous defects predominately account for photo‐instability and open‐circuit voltage losses in wide‐bandgap perovskite solar cells (WBG PSCs). This review comprehensively presents the underlying impact mechanisms, summarizes the advanced optimization strategies across various functional layers and their interfaces to develop efficient and stable WBG

Modeling the consequences of tongue surgery on tongue mobility [PDF]

open access: yesDans Proceedings - Surgetica'2007: Computer-Aided Medical Interventions: tools and applications., France (2007), 2007
This paper presents the current achievements of a long term project aiming at predicting and assessing the impact of tongue and mouth floor surgery on tongue mobility. The ultimate objective of this project is the design of a software with which surgeons should be able (1) to design a 3D biomechanical model of the tongue and of the mouth floor that ...

High‐Transmission Mid‐Infrared Bandpass Filters using Hybrid Metal‐Dielectric Metasurfaces for CO2 Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, Volume 13, Issue 8, March 13, 2025.
This article presents a hybrid metal‐dielectric metasurface in transmission mode for mid‐infrared (MIR) spectroscopy. Composed of germanium on aluminium cylinders atop a calcium fluoride substrate, the metasurface achieves 80% transmission efficiency at λ = 2.6 µm with a narrow full‐width‐half‐maximum of 0.4 µm.

Emerging Therapeutic Strategies for Hearing Loss

open access: yesAdvanced Therapeutics, EarlyView.
Challenges still exist in treating hearing loss in cases of severe damage to hair cells or spiral ganglion neurons. Here, a schematic diagram of cochlear sensory hair cells and auditory nerves is presented. It is found that in normal Corti organs, hair cells have upright stereocilia at the top and auditory neurons at the base. Ototoxic drugs, noise, or

FloorGenT: Generative Vector Graphic Model of Floor Plans for Robotics [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2022
Floor plans are the basis of reasoning in and communicating about indoor environments. In this paper, we show that by modelling floor plans as sequences of line segments seen from a particular point of view, recent advances in autoregressive sequence modelling can be leveraged to model and predict floor plans.
