A-MAL: Automatic Movement Assessment Learning from Properly Performed Movements in 3D Skeleton Videos [PDF]
The task of assessing movement quality has recently gained high demand in a variety of domains. The ability to automatically assess subject movement in videos that were captured by affordable devices, such as Kinect cameras, is essential for monitoring clinical rehabilitation processes, for improving motor skills and for movement learning tasks.

This article advocates integrating temporal dynamics into cancer research. Rather than relying on static snapshots, researchers should increasingly consider adopting dynamic methods—such as live imaging, temporal omics, and liquid biopsies—to track how tumors evolve over time.

Abstract Purpose To evaluate the impact of various noise reduction algorithms and template matching parameters on the accuracy of markerless tumor tracking (MTT) using dual‐energy (DE) imaging. Methods A Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator was used to acquire a series of alternating 60 and 120 kVp images (over a 180° arc) using fast kV switching, on ...

Generalizing the first-difference correlated random walk for marine animal movement data [PDF]
Animal telemetry data are often analysed with discrete time movement models assuming rotation in the movement. These models are defined with equidistant distant time steps. However, telemetry data from marine animals are observed irregularly. To account for irregular data, a time-irregularised first-difference correlated random walk model with drift is

Interplay of integrins and selectins in metastasis
Here we review the role of integrins and their interplay with selectins in metastasis. The efficacy of integrin‐targeted therapies may be reduced in tumors where metastasis relies heavily on selectins. In certain tumors, integrins and selectins exhibit a synergistic interaction during intraperitoneal dissemination.

Abstract Purpose The aim of this work was to evaluate the SunCHECK PerFRACTION, the software for in vivo monitoring using EPID images. Materials/Methods First, the PerFRACTION ability to detect errors was investigated simulating two situations: (1) variation of LINAC output and (2) variation of the phantom thickness.

Tractor Unit Acoustemology : Sounds of a Dwelling on the Road
In this article I provide an alternative ethnographic “description” of daily life of long-haul drivers. It is based on the assumption of acoustemology and field recording method.
