Through multi‐rate operando X‐ray diffraction and soft X‐ray absorption spectroscopy, we demonstrate how surface‐level changes in aged single‐crystalline Ni‐rich LiNixMnyCo1−x−yO2 particles can directly affect bulk Li‐ion diffusion. The effect of this phenomenon on the electrochemical performance is also quantified using single‐layer pouch cells under ...

Enhancement of conservation knowledge through increased access to botanical information
Abstract Herbarium specimens are increasingly recognized as an important resource for conservation science and virtual herbaria are making specimens freely available to a wider range of users than ever before. Few virtual herbaria are designed with conservation use as a primary driver. Exceptionally, Brazil's Reflora Virtual Herbarium (RVH) was created

Energy‐Efficient Control for an Unmanned Ground Vehicle in a Wireless Sensor Network
In this paper, an energy‐efficient control solution for an Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) in a Wireless Sensor Network is proposed. This novel control approach integrates periodic event‐triggered control, packet‐based control, time‐varying dual‐rate Kalman filter‐based prediction techniques, and dual‐rate control.

Growth, phytochemicals, and antitumor activity of the ice plant were assessed. α‐Linolenic acid (18:3n‐3) was significantly higher in wild than in cultivated plants. Higher salinity levels led to increased total carotenoids in cultivated plants. Selected light treatments increased phenolic content and fresh plant mass.
