Detrending knee joint vibration signals with a cascade moving average filter [PDF]

open access: yes2012 Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, 2012
Knee joint vibration signals are very useful for computer-aided analysis of the pathological conditions in the knee. In a vibration arthrometry test, the legs of patients with knee joint disorders may tremble due to the reaction of pain, which causes the baseline wander that may affect the diagnostic decision making in medical study.

Fast filtering for seasonal moving average models

Biometrika, 1986
SUMMARY Pearlman (1980) gives a fast filtering algorithm for an ARMA, i.e. autoregressive-moving average, model. When the algorithm is applied to a seasonal moving average model significant computational savings can be obtained by taking advantage of the structural zeros noted by Kohn & Ansley (1984) and Melard (1984).

A Generalized Moving Average Filter for Active Power Filter Applications

2019 IEEE 28th International Symposium on Industrial Electronics (ISIE), 2019
In recent years, the large number of nonlinear, unbalanced and reactive loads such as single-phase rectifiers are widely used in the distributed power grid. Obviously, a series of harmonic currents and unbalanced load currents are affecting the power quality seriously.
