Enzymatic degradation of biopolymers in amorphous and molten states: mechanisms and applications
This review explains how polymer morphology and thermal state shape enzymatic degradation pathways, comparing amorphous and molten biopolymer structures. By integrating structure–reactivity principles with insights from thermodynamics and enzyme engineering, it highlights mechanisms that enable efficient polymer breakdown.

Modelling of Deceleration Process of Spatial Movements [PDF]
Solution of breaking problem of moving mechanical object is discussed. Five boundary values are used for the problem. Mathematical model of the process has been obtained. Also all dynamic functions and characteristics are represented.

Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

On an integral equation of the Dirichlet problem for the heat equation in the degenerating domain
This paper considers the first boundary value problem of heat conduction in a degenerating domain with a moving boundary, the boundary of the domain moves at a variable velocity.

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

Lessons Learned: Quality Analysis of Optical Coherence Tomography in Neuromyelitis Optica
ABSTRACT Introduction Optical coherence tomography (OCT)‐derived retina measurements are markers for neuroaxonal visual pathway status. High‐quality OCT scans are essential for reliable measurements, but their acquisition is particularly challenging in eyes with severe visual impairment, as often observed in neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders ...
