There are many boundaries in society. There are geological boundaries, cultural boundaries, national boundaries and others. For persons with disabilities, there are other types of boundaries, such as physical, informational and social boundaries. They may be called barriers.

Moving boundary “partition” electrophoresis
Analytical Biochemistry, 1971Abstract The use of classical moving boundary electrophoresis in the study of biopolymers has decreased substantially in recent years. Among the reasons for its loss of popularity are the high cost of the equipment, the complexity of the technique, and the large amount of substance necessary for an analysis.

Boundary-Layer Separation From Downstream Moving Boundaries
Journal of Applied Mechanics, 1973The laminar boundary-layer equations for incompressible flow with a mild adverse pressure gradient were numerically solved for flows over downstream moving boundaries. It was demonstrated that the vanishing of skin friction in this case is not related to separation.2 Indeed the integration proceeds smoothly through a point of vanishing skin friction ...

Moving boundary electrophoretically mediated microanalysis
Journal of Chromatography A, 1996Moving boundary sample introduction is described as an alternative to zonal injection methods for the electrophoretically mediated microanalysis (EMMA) of leucine aminopeptidase (LAP). The capillary was initially filled with the analyte solution while the faster-migrating substrate, L-leucine-p-nitroanilide, was maintained in the inlet reservoir.

MOVING BOUNDARY ELECTROPHORESIS IN TRIS BUFFERS
International Journal of Protein Research, 1971The effects of various organic acids in tris (hydroxymethyV) aminomethane buffers (Tris buffers) on the moving boundary electrophoretic patterns of a bovine lens extract, bovine a‐crystallin, and bovine plasma albumin were investigated. The effects of buffer concentration and added neutral salt were studied.
