Detection of moving targets with a moving camera
2009 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Biomimetics (ROBIO), 2009In this paper we propose a new method of detecting moving objects from a moving camera based on SIFT(The Scale Invariant Feature Transform) features matching and dynamic background modeling. Firstly, feature points are extracted by SIFT algorithm to compute the affine transformation parameters of camera motion, and guided by RANSAC to remove the ...

Moving object detection and camera motion analysis from moving camera
IECON 2012 - 38th Annual Conference on IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2012This paper describes an approach for the scene motion analysis in complex scenes from moving camera. Proposed method consists of two parts. First image of the sequence is used to compose a triangular grid which vertices are used as a feature points in further processing.

Moving object detection by a mounted moving camera
IEEE EUROCON 2015 - International Conference on Computer as a Tool (EUROCON), 2015Accurate moving object detection is one of the most important topic for surveillance systems. Background subtraction works well for videos acquired by stationary mounted camera. However, it does not work for mounted moving cameras since the background objects also move in two consecutive frames.

Moving Object's Detect in a Monocular Moving Camera
2013 IEEE 11th International Conference on Dependable, Autonomic and Secure Computing, 2013Recently, there has been increasing interest in using mobile robots within spaces where humans reside, and safe navigation by effective sensing becomes an important issue. In this paper, we describe a method to detect moving objects that exist in front of an autonomously navigating robot by analyzing images of a monocular color camera mounted on the ...

Calibrating Freely Moving Cameras
18th International Conference on Pattern Recognition (ICPR'06), 2006We present a novel practical method for self-calibrating a camera which may move freely in space while changing it internal parameters by zooming. We show that point correspondences between a pair of images, and the fundamental matrix computed from these point correspondences, are sufficient to recover the internal parameters of a camera.

Occlusion detection in moving cameras
2012 20th Signal Processing and Communications Applications Conference (SIU), 2012In this work, we propose a novel method for detection of moving or static objects which are not part of the background in an image sequence captured by a moving camera. The method is composed of two stages, namely, construction of a background model and detection of occluding objects.
