Micropillar‐Engineered Hybrid Adhesive Patch for Surface‐Conformable and Directional Adhesion

This work presents a surface‐conformable hybrid adhesive integrating height‐optimized hexagonal micropillars with open‐rectangular cuts. The micropillars enhance rough‐surface contact and microscale crack arrest, while the cuts guide and reverse interfacial cracks for strong and directional adhesion. Programmable Variable‐Stiffness Multilayer Elastomer Composites With High‐Aspect‐Ratio Low‐Melting‐Point Alloy Inclusions

High‐aspect‐ratio low‐melting‐point alloy inclusions are embedded within multilayer silicone laminates to create thermally programmable stiffness. Sequential activation of alloy‐rich layers produces four distinct mechanical states and reconfigures tendon‐driven actuator trajectories under the same load.

Spatially Configurable Conformal Sensor Integration on an Ultra‐Fine Metallic Needle for Minimally Invasive Deep‐Tissue Oxygen Monitoring

A multi‐point oxygen‐sensing ultra‐fine needle (MO‐UFN) is developed by conformally integrating a lithographically patterned flexible electrochemical sensor array onto a clinical acupuncture needle. The platform preserves an approximately 0.3 mm diameter while enabling spatially resolved oxygen profiling along the insertion pathway.
