Die Studie zeigt eine eindeutige Unterscheidung von Alkylether‐ und Vinyletherlipiden (Plasmalogenen) durch Lipidtransferproteine, was auf unterschiedliche funktionelle Rollen in Zellen hindeutet.

Speech Repression and Threat Narratives in Politics: Social Goals and Cognitive Foundations
Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences, Volume 1553, Issue 1, Page 75-95, November 2025.Why do political activists repress speech, especially to protect simplistic ideological narratives? I argue that speech repression stems from at least three key motivations: hypersensitivity to social threats, desires to maintain mobilizations through information control, and status‐seeking through loyalty signaling.

Design of the Hydrophobic Core of Self‐Assembling Peptide Fibrils for Enhanced Neural Regeneration
Small Science, Volume 5, Issue 10, October 2025.This study reports the design of neurosupportive peptide fibrils by systematically varying the hydrophobic core of EF‐C‐derived peptide variants. Peptides containing phenylalanine or isoleucine side chains are identified as having high aggregation propensities and performing superior in cell culture studies.
