Mass‐Transport–Engineered CCM Architecture Employing MPL‐Free Carbon Paper and Graphene‐Coated Ni Foam Channels for High‐Temperature PEM Fuel Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 39, 13 July 2026.
A CCM‐based architectural strategy is introduced for high‐temperature PEM fuel cells, enabling MPL‐free carbon paper gas diffusion layers via decal‐transfer processing. By co‐engineering the CCM, GDL, and a G‐foam flow field, oxygen transport is enhanced while phosphoric‐acid leakage is suppressed, resulting in high power density and stable operation ...

Robotic Partial Nephrectomy: Different Surgical Approaches for Different Locations

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 15, Issue 7, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Background The adoption of robotic partial nephrectomy has grown significantly over the past decade, prompting a debate on the merits of transperitoneal versus retroperitoneal surgical access. This study evaluated the association between surgical route (transperitoneal, TRPN; retroperitoneal, RRPN) and pentafecta achievement using a detailed ...

Hidden in Plain Sight: Systemic Mastocytosis Manifesting as Isolated Hepatosplenomegaly in the Absence of Cutaneous and Classical Manifestations—A Case Report and Literature Review

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 7, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Systemic mastocytosis (SM) is a rare clonal myeloproliferative neoplasm typically characterized by cutaneous lesions and mediator‐release symptoms. Presentations dominated by visceral organ involvement without skin findings are uncommon and pose a significant diagnostic challenge, often mimicking hematologic malignancies.

Evaluación de redes MPLS/VPN/BGP con rutas reflejadas

open access: yesTecnura, 2012
In this paper, we study and evaluate the MPLS/VPN/BGP backbone level according to RFC4364, focusing on connecting intranet systems. The algorithm evaluates BGP Route Reflectionscenarios for connecting routers CE (Customer Edge) and PE (Provider Edge ...

CRISPR‐Cas9 Genome‐Wide Screening in Paediatric Cancer: Functional Genomics for Target Discovery and the Improvement of Existing Therapies

open access: yesMedicinal Research Reviews, Volume 46, Issue 4, Page 989-1004, July 2026.
ABSTRACT CRISPR‐Cas9 genome‐wide screening has been instrumental towards identifying novel targets for drug discovery in cancer research. However, much of this research has centred specifically on adult cancers, with paediatric cancers being underserviced by current research and screening.

Metastatic Gastric Adenocarcinoma Presenting With Pleuropericardial Effusions and Cardiac Tamponade: A Diagnostic Challenging Case Report

open access: yesRespirology Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 7, July 2026.
This case highlights the diagnostic challenge of occult gastric adenocarcinoma presenting with pleuropericardial effusions and tamponade. In unexplained lymphocyte‐predominant effusions, malignancy should be considered, and early VATS‐guided pleural biopsy may be required when noninvasive tests are inconclusive.

Prevalence and Grade of Patellar Luxation in Cavalier King Charles Spaniels Attending Primary‐Care Veterinary Practices in Australia

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 4, July 2026.
Patella luxation was prevalent in Cavalier King Charles Spaniels attending Australian veterinary practices. Dogs which were younger, neutered, above the breed standard weight, and with ruby‐coloured coats were at increased risk, while dogs with bilateral luxation were more likely to be diagnosed with higher grade luxation .

Modified Tibial Plateau Levelling Osteotomy in a Cat With a Cranial Cruciate Ligament Rupture and a Concurrent Medial Patellar Luxation

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 4, July 2026.
A 12‐year‐old castrated male Russian Blue cat presented with cranial cruciate ligament rupture and concurrent grade 3 medial patellar luxation. A modified tibial plateau‐levelling osteotomy (mTPLO) using an Arix‐vet plate with a 2‐mm offset was performed, simultaneously correcting cranial tibial thrust and patellar luxation in a single procedure.
