Mp-Residuated Lattices

open access: yesKragujevac Journal of Mathematics
This paper is devoted to the study of a fascinating class of residuated lattices, the so-called mp-residuated lattice, in which any prime filter contains a unique minimal prime filter. A combination of algebraic and topological methods is applied to obtain new and structural results on mp-residuated lattices.

Porcine kidney xenotransplantation: From primate models to clinical reality

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
In the face of a critical shortage of human donor kidneys for end‐stage renal disease patients, porcine kidney xenotransplantation has emerged as a viable solution. This field has navigated major hurdles, including immune rejection, physiological incompatibilities, potential biomechanical differences and the risk of cross‐species infection. To overcome

Single‐cell atlas of neuroglial dynamics in SNCA‐A53T Parkinson's disease mouse model

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
We performed single‐cell RNA sequencing of midbrain and striatal tissues from SNCA‐A53T Parkinson's disease (PD) mice, revealing glia‐enriched PD‐risk gene signatures and disease‐specific subpopulations. Transcriptional dysregulation of key TFs (e.g., Rorb, Foxc1) and enhanced neuroinflammatory signaling (SEMA, CCL, MIF) were identified.

Therapeutic Applications of Stimuli‐Based Release and Engineering of Extracellular Vesicles

open access: yesAdvanced NanoBiomed Research, EarlyView.
This review summarizes the effects of endogenous and exogenous stimuli, their effects on the natural release of extracellular vesicles, as well as their uptake and release. It also gives an overview of stimuli‐responsive EVs and their therapeutic applications. Extracellular vesicles (EVs), nano‐ to microsized lipid bilayer membrane‐bound particles, are

The photo-redox of chromium regulated by microplastics (MPs) and MPs-derived dissolved organic matter (MPs-DOM) and the CO2 emission of MPs-DOM

open access: yesFundamental Research
Microplastics (MPs) and chromium (Cr) are common pollutants in wastewater treatment plants, where ultraviolet disinfection processes may degrade MPs and photooxidize Cr(III) into more hazardous Cr(VI). In this study, the effects of MPs on the phototransformation of coexisting Cr, as well as the role and ecological effects of MPs-derived dissolved ...

Safety and Feasibility of Magnetic Separation‐Based Blood Purification

open access: yesAdvanced NanoBiomed Research, EarlyView.
We present the preclinical biological safety and translational feasibility of a magnetic nanoparticle‐based extracorporeal blood purification platform for removal of disease‐causing blood factors. ISO 10993‐compliant studies and exaggerated worst‐case exposure models demonstrate efficient nanoparticle extraction (≥99.9%), favorable biocompatibility ...
