Caracterização da região espaçadora 16-23S rDNA para diferenciação de estirpes de rizóbios utilizadas na produção de inoculantes comerciais no Brasil Characterization of the spacer region 16-23S rDNA for differentiation of strains of rhizobia used in the production of commercial inoculants in Brazil

Degree theory for 4‐dimensional asymptotically conical gradient expanding solitons

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, Volume 79, Issue 5, Page 1151-1298, May 2026.
Abstract We develop a new degree theory for 4‐dimensional, asymptotically conical gradient expanding solitons. Our theory implies the existence of gradient expanding solitons that are asymptotic to any given cone over S3$S^3$ with non‐negative scalar curvature. We also obtain a similar existence result for cones whose link is diffeomorphic to S3/Γ$S^3/\

Botulinum-A toxin in the treatment of painful post-stroke nocturnal paroxysmal dystonia triggered by periodic limb movements of sleep: case report Toxina botulínica tipo A no tratamento da distonia paroxística noturna dolorosa pós-isquemia cerebral desencadeada por movimentos periódicos do sono: relato de caso

open access: yesArquivos de Neuro-Psiquiatria, 2006
INTRODUCTION: Sleep disorders presenting involuntary movements may be very annoying to patients, apart from their negative influence on sleep. OBJECTIVE: To report the use of botulinum type-A toxin (BoNT-A) to manage the case of a patient whose sleep was

Supersymmetric SO(10) Models Inspired by Deconstruction

open access: yes, 2004
We consider 4-dimensional N=1 supersymmetric SO(10) models inspired by deconstruction of 5-dimensional N=1 supersymmetric orbifold SO(10) models and high dimensional non-supersymmetric SO(10) models with Wilson line gauge symmetry breaking.

The Expanding Role of Gene Sequencing in Shaping Fetal Therapies: Clinical and Ethical Considerations

open access: yesPrenatal Diagnosis, Volume 46, Issue 5-6, Page 623-635, May 2026.
ABSTRACT In utero interventions are transformative in addressing genetic and anatomic conditions during fetal development. Next generation sequencing enables early genetic testing, playing a pivotal role in prenatal decision‐making by supporting risk stratification, precise and timely diagnosis, which directly informs eligibility for fetal surgical and

Recommendations for the management of MPS VI: systematic evidence- and consensus-based guidance. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
IntroductionMucopolysaccharidosis (MPS) VI or Maroteaux-Lamy syndrome (253200) is an autosomal recessive lysosomal storage disorder caused by deficiency in N-acetylgalactosamine-4-sulfatase (arylsulfatase B).

Dissecting the Cell‐Type‐Specific Response to an Emerging Tobamovirus in Tomato Reveals Cultivar‐Dependent Involvement of Brassinosteroid Signalling

open access: yesPlant Biotechnology Journal, Volume 24, Issue 5, Page 3106-3124, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Plant viruses drive widespread crop epidemics, yet the host plant responses across different cell types, particularly how these responses are influenced by cultivars with varying genetic backgrounds, including the presence of resistance (R) genes, remain poorly understood. Using tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV) and two tomato cultivars,

Upcycling Printed Circuit Board E‐Waste to High‐Strength, Multifunctional, and Reprocessable Sulfur Composites via Thiocracking

open access: yesChemSusChem, Volume 19, Issue 7, 14 April 2026.
Thiocracking, the one‐pot reaction of elemental sulfur with printed circuit board waste, converts unrecyclable laminates into high‐sulfur composites. The most practical material prepared herein combines cement‐like strength with 100% strength retention after 10 melt–recast cycles, low thermal conductivity (0.37 W m−1 K−1), and antimicrobial efficacy ...

Building predictive models of soil particle-size distribution Construção de modelos preditivos da distribuição do tamanho de partículas do solo

open access: yesRevista Brasileira de Ciência do Solo, 2013
Is it possible to build predictive models (PMs) of soil particle-size distribution (psd) in a region with complex geology and a young and unstable land-surface? The main objective of this study was to answer this question.
