Comparative study of MPS method and level-set method for sloshing flows
Journal of Hydrodynamics, 2014This paper presents a comparative study of a meshless moving particle semi-implicit (MPS) method and a grid based level-set method in the simulation of sloshing flows. The numerical schemes of the MPS and level-set methods are outlined and two violent sloshing cases are considered.

Study on MP-FMEA method for aviation materiel
2011 IEEE 18th International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management, 2011Based on the research of the process FMEA the method of MP-FMEA for aviation materiel was presented, which included the definition of the fault in the maintenance process and its mode. The cause of these faults were studied and classified, the calculation method for RPN in the MP-FMEA was also provided at the same time. At the end of this paper an aero-

GPU Parallelization of Solving Pressure Poisson Equation in MPS Method
International Journal of Computational Methods, 2023In this paper, the explicit solving of pressure Poisson equation and GPU parallelization were employed to improve the efficiency of MPS method, which is one of the mainstream particle methods. The performance of the explicit GPU parallel MPS method is discussed using two-dimensional dam-break and sloshing problems.

Improved MPS method with variable‐size particles
International Journal for Numerical Methods in Fluids, 2015SummaryUsing variable‐size particles in the moving particle semi‐implicit method (MPS) could lead to inaccurate predictions and/or numerical instability. In this paper, a variable‐size particle moving particle semi‐implicit method (VSP‐MPS) scheme is proposed for the MPS method to achieve more reliable simulations with variable‐size particles.

Elastic objects for computer graphic field using MPS method
ACM SIGGRAPH 2007 posters, 2007Physics simulations play an important role on computer graphics in recent years. We newly adopt MPS(Moving Particle Semiimplicit), which can calculates elastic objects based on continuum mechanics. Interaction is easily evaluated by particle collisions.

Numerical Simulation of Rayleigh–Taylor Instability by Multiphase MPS Method
International Journal of Computational Methods, 2018The Rayleigh–Taylor instability (RTI) problem is one of the classic hydrodynamic instability cases in natural scenarios and industrial applications. For the numerical simulation of the RTI problem, this paper presents a multiphase method based on the moving particle semi-implicit (MPS) method. Herein, the incompressibility of the fluids is satisfied by

The Suitability of the SPR-MP Method to Evaluate the Reliability of Logic Circuits
2018 25th IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Systems (ICECS), 2018Methods to estimate circuit reliability are important, especially when nanometer scale technologies are involved. In the present work, two methods, PTM and SPR, are applied to evaluate 9 combinational circuits. The study focuses on determining the limits of PTM and SPR in terms of number of operations, processing time and accuracy.

Proposed Relay Method with P-MP Structure Of IEEE802.16-2004
2005 IEEE 16th International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications, 2006This paper presents a relay method with a P-MP (point to multipoint) structure by extending the IEEE 802.16-2004 standard in order to expand the coverage area (2004). In the proposed relay method, a RS (relay station) sends a polling message for the SSs (subscriber station) assigned to the former to forward uplink data in terms of the contention ...

A Numerical Method for Two-Dimensional Schrödinger Equation Using MPS
2011In this paper, we propose a numerical scheme to solve the two-dimensional (2D) time-dependent Schrodinger equation by using the method of particular solution(MPS) and radial basis function(RBF). The scheme works in a similar fashion as finite-difference methods.
