Research on Ferromagnetic Hysteresis of a Magnetorheological Fluid Damper
The inherent hysteresis of magnetorheological fluid dampers is one of the main reasons which limit their applications. The hysteresis mainly caused from two aspects.

Memory and Resting‐State Connectivity in Acute Transient Global Amnesia: A Case–Control fMRI Study
ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Transient global amnesia (TGA) is a striking model of isolated amnesia. While hippocampal lesions are well described, the network‐level mechanisms and the precise neuropsychological profile remain debated. Our objective was thus to characterize functional and neuropsychological correlates of acute TGA and their ...

Neurovascular Contacts in the Pathophysiology of Neuralgic Amyotrophy: An Observational Study
ABSTRACT Objective Neuralgic amyotrophy (NA) is a prevalent, monophasic, multifocal immune‐mediated neuropathy. A distinctive characteristic of the disease is the occurrence of nerve or fascicle constrictions and torsions (NA‐associated focal nerve lesions, NAFL). The pathophysiology underlying this phenomenon remains to be fully elucidated.

Association Between Motor Pathway Damage and Motor Deficit in Upper and Lower Limb in People With MS
ABSTRACT Objective Corticospinal tract damage is common in people with MS, but the degree of clinical symptoms varies. We hypothesize that corticospinal tract lesions are more extensive and severe in people with MS with motor impairments in both upper and lower limbs.

Modeling the Response of Magnetorheological Fluid Dampers under Seismic Conditions
Magnetorheological (MR) fluid is a smart material fabricated by mixing magnetic-responsive particles with non-magnetic-responsive carrier fluids. MR fluid dampers are able to provide rapid and reversible changes to their damping coefficient.

Viscoplastic properties of an MR fluid in a damper
The aim of this paper is to mathematically describe and analyze the viscoplastic properties of a magnetorehological (MR) fluid. The scope of the discussed research has been limited to the T-MR SiMR 132 DG damper prototype. Laboratory tests have been performed on a specially developed experimental stand with a kinematic excitation rule.

Recurrent Hypothermia and Autonomic Dysfunction Secondary to Shapiro Syndrome
ABSTRACT A 44‐year‐old man presented with recurrent hypothermia, diaphoresis and hypertension. Extensive investigation for infectious, inflammatory, metabolic and endocrine aetiologies was negative. MR scan of the brain demonstrated no lesions but revealed callosal dysgenesis, consistent with Shapiro syndrome.
