A Study on Power Transmission Control for Applying MR Fluid Multi-Plate Clutch to Automobile Power Distribution Device [PDF]

open access: yesApplied Sciences
The aim of this study is to design and manufacture a multi-plate clutch system that uses magnetorheological (MR) fluid control to allow for a variable power transmission ratio in power distribution systems.

Sinonasal ossifying fibroma with fluid-fluid levels on MR images. [PDF]

open access: yesAJNR. American journal of neuroradiology, 2003
Ossifying fibroma is a rare benign neoplasm that usually affects mandibular and maxillary bones. In this report, we present a case of sinonasal ossifying fibroma with fluid-fluid levels and posterior extension toward the torus tubarius on MR images.

MR diagnosis of fluid collections in acute interstitial pancreatitis [PDF]

open access: yesБюллетень сибирской медицины, 2012
The article analyses MR examinations of 160 patients with interstitial acute pancreatitis, in absence of MR signs of necrosis of pancreatic parenchyma; the incidence of fluid collections and their outcomes are estimated. Small single fluid collections in

Prediction Model of Magnetorheological (MR) Fluid Damper Hysteresis Loop using Extreme Learning Machine Algorithm [PDF]

open access: yesOpen Engineering, 2021
Magnetorheological (MR) fluid is among the smart materials that can change its default properties with the influence of a magnetic field. Typical application of an MR fluid based device involves an adjustable damper which is commercially known as an MR ...

In-situ Capacitance Sensing for the Settlement of Magnetorheological Fluid: Simulation and Experiments

open access: yesFrontiers in Materials, 2021
In light of the insurmountable sedimentation of magnetorheological (MR) fluid, it is of great significance to ensure the performability of an MR damper by introducing a sensing method for MR fluid settling, and a key indicator to identify the health ...

Vibration suppression device that has variable moment of inertia using magneto-rheological fluid (Seismic test during switching series inertia mass by reinforcement learning)

open access: yesNihon Kikai Gakkai ronbunshu, 2022
In previous paper the authors successfully developed a vibration suppression device (VSD) that has variable moment of inertia using Magneto-Rheological (MR) fluid. The MR fluid is filled into a flywheel.

MR imaging of intracranial fluid levels [PDF]

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Roentgenology, 1989
Six patients with seven intracranial fluid levels were evaluated with both CT and MR at 1.5 T. A surgical diagnosis was obtained in six of the seven instances. MR was found to be superior to CT in detecting intracranial fluid levels, and the MR signal characteristics were helpful in identifying their contents.

The study on thermal management of magnetorheological fluid retarder with thermoelectric cooling module

open access: yesCase Studies in Thermal Engineering, 2021
The operational temperature of the magnetorheological (MR) fluid retarder is usually over 80 °C, and it reaches 150 °C when heat dissipation doesn't function well.
