MRAC FOR SYSTEMS WITH SINUSOIDAL PARAMETERS
International Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, 1996Present adaptive control schemes are formulated to estimate constant parameters. In certain circumstances, however, time-varying parameters may need to be estimated. This paper presents a method for estimating parameters that vary sinusoidally based upon the passivity/hyperstability formulation.

MRAC BasedApproachforStabilization of Single Link InvertedPendulum
2018 International Conference on Current Trends towards Converging Technologies (ICCTCT), 2018The problem of balancing an inverted pendulum has been a benchmark problem in demonstrating various control design techniques. The principal reasons for it's popularity are its nonlinear and unstable characteristics. In this paper a single link inverted pendulum system has been chosen and adaptive control algorithm has been implemented for ...

Performance analysis on MRAC and fuzzy MRAC control for dryer in paper making process
2014 IEEE International Conference on Advanced Communications, Control and Computing Technologies, 2014In this paper performance analysis of proposed fuzzy MRAC based control for drying process is compared. Last part of the paper machine consists of a large number of rotating steam heated cylinders. By adjusting the set point of the stream pressure to the cylinders, moisture to be controlled.

Model Updating Improves Performance of an MRAC Design
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1983Abstract We will discuss the technique of model updating to improve the performance of a MRAC design with state feedback. At specified time intervals the state of the reference model is adjusted to actual state of the system, which can improve the convergence of the parameters, reduces control effort and yields faster response times.

MRAC Implementation for Electric Throttle Valve
2020 10th International Conference on Advanced Computer Information Technologies (ACIT), 2020Design, implementation and testing of a model reference adaptive controller for an electric throttle valve are presented. An important step by design an adaptive controller is to find an adaptation mechanism. For this purpose, we employed the Lyapunov stability theory.

Data driven MRAC with parameter convergence
2015 IEEE Conference on Control Applications (CCA), 2015The convergence of parameters in model reference adaptive control (MRAC) requires that a restrictive persistence of excitation (PE) condition be satisfied. A recent data driven approach, concurrent learning, uses past input-output data in conjunction with standard adaptive laws to ensure parameter convergence without needing the PE condition.
