Proceedings of the 2nd ACM international workshop on Data warehousing and OLAP, 1999
Some of the most recently proposed algorithms for the incremental maintenance of materialized data warehouses (DW), such as SWEEP and PSWEEP, offer several significant advantages over previous solutions, such as high-performance, no potential for infinite waits and reduced remote queries and thus reduced network and information source (IS) loads ...

MREJ: MRE elasticity reconstruction on ImageJ
Computers in Biology and Medicine, 2013Magnetic resonance elastography (MRE) is a promising method for health evaluation and disease diagnosis. It makes use of elastic waves as a virtual probe to quantify soft tissue elasticity. The wave actuator, imaging modality and elasticity interpreter are all essential components for an MRE system.

MRE Evaluation of Intestinal Inflammation
Topics in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, 2021Abstract Magnetic resonance enterography (MRE) is a powerful tool for evaluation and management of patients with Crohn disease. Changes of active inflammation of the small bowel can reliably and reproducibly be detected and monitored. Findings indicative of active inflammation include bowel wall thickening, intramural edema and

MRE Damping Characteristics Evaluation
Key Engineering Materials, 2016The paper addresses the study of the damping characteristics estimation and behaviour of the magnetorheological elastomers (MREs) in the absence of magnetic field. This type of material actively changes the size, internal structure and viscoelastic characteristics under the external influences. These particular composite materials whose characteristics

Masters in Health Research (MRes)
BMJ, 2009This is a masters degree offered to postgraduate health professionals, including doctors and intercalating medical students. In broad terms, the MRes can be considered to parallel an MPhil, but whereas the MPhil is usually the first year of a PhD, the MRes is a standalone one year postgraduate masters degree.

Selecting Hypomethylated Genomic Regions Using MRE-Seq
2016Here, we describe a method capable of filtering the hypomethylated part of plant genomes, the so-called hypomethylome. The principle of the method is based on the filtration and sequence analysis of small DNA fragments generated by methylation-sensitive four-cutter restriction endonucleases, possessing ((5me))CpG motifs in their recognition sites.

C‐terminal deletion mutant of MRE‐binding transcription factor‐1 inhibits MRE‐driven gene expression
Journal of Cellular Biochemistry, 2004AbstractHeavy metal‐induced transcriptional activation of the genes coding for metallothionein (MT) is mediated by a cis‐acting DNA element, the metal‐responsive element (MRE). MRE‐binding transcription factor‐1 (MTF‐1) is a highly conserved heavy metal‐induced transcriptional activator.

Reviews the origins of the MRes – the research masters programme developed in the mid‐1990s as a result of pressure to provide research students with a broader based training in research before embarking on a PhD or industrial research career. Notes the variation in the implementation of the MRes across a range of science‐based programmes observing ...
