Implications of Cosmological Gamma-Ray Absorption - I.Evolution of the Metagalactic Radiation Field [PDF]
Gamma-ray absorption due to gamma-gamma-pair creation on cosmological scales depends on the line-of-sight integral of the evolving density of low-energy photons in the Universe, i.e. on the history of the diffuse, isotropic radiation field.

NAT‐GS was significantly more effective only in patients with one tumor marker above the reference range, comparing those who achieved 12‐month MRFS with those who did not. ABSTRACT Aim Pancreatic cancer (PC) remains one of the most lethal malignancies, with early recurrence severely affecting prognosis even after curative resection.

Study on airflow-coal dust dispersion pattern and control technology in fully mechanized mining face
The shearer in a fully mechanized mining face generates significant turbulent airflow during coal cutting, resulting in changes in airflow velocity in the mining area and causing the lateral dispersion of coal dust particles toward pavements.

Switchable Adhesion of Soft Composites Induced by a Magnetic Field
Switchable adhesives have the potential to improve the manufacturing and recycling of parts and to enable new modes of motility for soft robots. Here, we demonstrate magnetically-switchable adhesion of a two-phase composite to non-magnetic objects.

Deep Learning‐Assisted Coherent Raman Scattering Microscopy
The analytical capabilities of coherent Raman scattering microscopy are augmented through deep learning integration. This synergistic paradigm improves fundamental performance via denoising, deconvolution, and hyperspectral unmixing. Concurrently, it enhances downstream image analysis including subcellular localization, virtual staining, and clinical ...

Fuzzy Active Contour Model With Markov Random Field for Change Detection
The traditional active contour models are sensitive to the speckle noise in the synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images. In this paper, the Markov random field (MRF) theory is incorporated into the fuzzy active contour model to detect the changes of ...

Rosette Cardiac MR Fingerprinting for Simultaneous T1, T2, T 2 * , and Fat Fraction Mapping Using a Multi-Echo Deep Image Prior Reconstruction. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Purpose Quantitative mapping of cardiac tissue properties is used clinically in diagnosis and monitoring of a wide variety of cardiac pathologies. Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Fingerprinting (cMRF) enables rapid and simultaneous quantification of multiple parameters in the myocardium from a single scan.

Food inflation pass‐through from agricultural imports in a small open economy
Abstract This paper develops a new framework for quantifying cost pass‐through in a small open economy by estimating firm‐level markup responses to agricultural import price shocks. We show theoretically that markup adjustments depend on firms' reliance on imported inputs and demand curvature, generating heterogeneous inflationary effects across firm ...
