The aims of this article are to present the main features of MRI of cardiomyopathy and to show selected images of cardiomyopathies.Cardiomyopathy is a frequent reason for cardiac MRI evaluation, which is now considered the most appropriate imaging technique for the diagnosis and follow-up of this wide range of myocardial diseases.

MR findings in three patients with mannosidosis are reported. They all had diploic space widening with underdevelopment of the sinuses, prominent periventricular Virchow-Robin spaces and perioptic CSF spaces. Two had tight foramen magnum, one of which was associated with a cervical syrinx and markedly widened perioptic CSF spaces with papilledema.

Magnetostimulation in MRI [PDF]
AbstractIn national and international bodies, there is active discussion of appropriate safety regulations of levels of magnetic field strength in MRI. Present limits are usually expressed in terms of the switching rate dB/dt, but the validity of this is open to debate.

The Management Research Initiative aims to encourage research in dental practice management. We hope that GDPs and dental teams will get involved either by looking at management issues in their own practice or by collaborating with other researchers.

We reviewed the MRI of 20 patients with a ranula (8 simple and 12 plunging) and ten with other cystic masses in the floor of the mouth and/or suprahyoid portion of the neck (three haemangiomas, two neuromas, one monomorphic adenoma, one lipoma, two lateral cervical cysts and one dermoid cyst).

MRI of the shoulder is widely considered the imaging modality of choice in the evaluation of shoulder pain and the clinical impingement syndrome. This is because of its direct evaluation of all of the soft tissue structures of the subacromial space, as well as its ability to depict the relationship of the overlying osseous and soft tissue structures of

A semi-skeletted water-lodged corpse was supposed to be an 82-year-old missed man. Fifteen years ago this person underwent an operation of a trimalleolar fracture of the left ankle joint. Conventional X-ray photograms of the left ankle joint of the water-lodged corpse showed no evidence of an operation.

Unsupervised MRI Reconstruction via Zero-Shot Learned Adversarial Transformers
IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging, 2021Supervised reconstruction models are characteristically trained on matched pairs of undersampled and fully-sampled data to capture an MRI prior, along with supervision regarding the imaging operator to enforce data consistency.

In the past, the diagnostic imaging algorithm for evaluating the painful wrist included initial plain radiographic examination followed by arthrography, tomography, bone scintigraphy, or computed tomography. In recent years, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has been proven efficacious for diagnosing a number of maladies of the bones, ligaments, and ...
