Molecular detection and characterization of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus pseudintermedius (MRSP) ST2361 in a healthcare setting [PDF]
Background: Staphylococcus pseudintermedius, a commensal in dogs, is an emerging zoonotic pathogen with increasing methicillin-resistant (MRSP) strains.

New schedulability analysis for MrsP [PDF]
In this paper we consider a spin-based multi-processor locking protocol, named the Multiprocessor resource sharing Protocol (MrsP). MrsP adopts a helping-mechanism where the preempted resource holder can migrate. The original schedulability analysis of MrsP carries considerable pessimism as it has been developed assuming limited knowledge of the ...

Antibacterial Effect of the In Vitro Interaction Between Clotrimazole and Chlorhexidine Against Staphylococcus pseudintermedius With Known Resistance Patterns Isolated From Canine Pyoderma. [PDF]
The 2:1 chlorhexidine–clotrimazole combination demonstrated enhanced antibacterial activity against canine Staphylococcus pseudintermedius isolates, including resistant strains. Reduced MIC values, predominantly additive interactions and absence of antagonism support its use as a promising topical strategy for canine pyoderma management.

Supporting Nested Resources in MrsP [PDF]
The original MrsP proposal presented a new multiprocessor resource sharing protocol based on the properties and behaviour of the Priority Ceiling Protocol, supported by a novel helping mechanism. While this approach proved to be as simple and elegant as the single processor protocol, the implications with regard to nested resources was identified as ...

Evaluation of the Antimicrobial Activity of a 3% Chlorhexidine/Ophytrium Mousse and Shampoo in 18 Healthy Dogs. [PDF]
Background: Topical antimicrobial therapy is vital for managing pyoderma yet poor compliance can affect treatment outcomes.Hypothesis/objective: To evaluate the antimicrobial activity of a 3% chlorhexidine/ophytrium shampoo at different contact times and the residual activity of a 3% chlorhexidine/ophytrium mousse against meticillin‐susceptible and ...

Emergence of methicillin resistant Staphylococcus pseudintermedius in dogs sampled in 2018 in the island nation of Grenada, West Indies [PDF]
Staphylococcus pseudintermedius (SP) is a commensal bacterium, and an opportunistic pathogen of dogs. Emergence and global dissemination of methicillin resistant SP (MRSP), environmental contamination in veterinary clinical settings, and nosocomial ...

In vitro activity of robenidine analogue NCL195 against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus pseudintermedius [PDF]
The rise of difficult-to-treat infections among companion animals, particularly the increasing incidence of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus pseudintermedius (MRSP) in dogs poses significant challenges for effective treatment options in veterinary ...

Assessment of Ocular Surface Pathogen Susceptibility to Ultraviolet-C (UVC) Light Treatment With a Novel Prototype Device-An In Vitro Study. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Purpose Assess in vitro efficacy of a device emitting 265 nm UVC light against bacteria isolated from veterinary infectious keratitis. Methods Twenty‐seven clinically‐derived bacterial isolates: Staphylococcus pseudintermedius (n = 10; including n = 2 methicillin‐resistant Staphylococcus pseudintermedius [MRSP]), Staphylococcus aureus (n = 1),

The Muenster Redshift Project (MRSP) [PDF]
The Muenster Redshift Project provides to date 0.9 million low-resolution redshifts obtained from automatic reductions of pairs of direct and low-dispersion objective prism Schmidt plates. Preliminary results obtained from subsamples of the survey are described.

A complete run-time overhead-aware schedulability analysis for MrsP under nested resources [PDF]
Abstract Multiprocessor Resource Sharing Protocol (MrsP) is a hard real-time multiprocessor resource sharing protocol for fully partitioned fixed-priority systems, and adopts a novel helping mechanism to allow task migrations during resource accessing.
