MSBR

Proceedings of the 2nd ACM international workshop on Quality of service & security for wireless and mobile networks, 2006
This paper presents the MSBR protocol. MSBR is a Quality of Service (QoS) reactive protocol which uses a new metric to choose reliable and stable multiple routes among those found during the discovery phase. To determine the best selection of routes among those returned, MSBR uses a new metric, the "combined reliability based on trust" to determine the

Engineering Development of the MSBR Fuel Recycle

Nuclear Applications and Technology, 1970
The molten-salt breeder reactor being developed at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) requires continuous chemical processing of the fuel salt, 7LiF-BeF2-ThF4 (72-16-12 mole%) containing ~0.3 mol...

Graphite behavior and its effects on MSBR performance

Nuclear Engineering and Design, 1969
Abstract Graphite behavior under Molten-Salt Breeder Reactor (MSBR) conditions is reviewed and its influence on MSBR performance estimated. Based on the irradiation behavior of small-sized graphite specimens, a permissible reactor exposure for MSBR graphite is about 3 × 1022 neutrons/cm2 (E > 50 keV).

Research of fuzzy control in MSBR

2011 International Symposium on Water Resource and Environmental Protection, 2011
MSBR process as an example verifies fuzzy control system's practicality in the wastewater treatment control system. Through experiment it is gained the relationship between control variables and project variables. The fuzzy control strategy will be applied to practical PLC control procedures ultimately, and get the desired results.

Comparison of high-concentration azo dye removal by long HRT in MSBRs’ bioaugmented with GAC and sponge media

Environmental Science and Pollution Research, 2022
The present study assessed the performance and fouling of adding granular activated carbon (GAC) and sponge (BioCube), as two different media, to a membrane sequencing batch reactor (MSBR) system in wastewater treatment containing Acid Red 18 (AR 18).

Biological removal of phenol from strong wastewaters using a novel MSBR

Water Research, 2009
In this study, the performance of a moving-bed sequencing batch reactor (MSBR) that removes phenol from wastewater is presented. The effects of phenol concentration (50-3325 mg L(-1)), filling time (0-4 h) and aerating time (4-18 h) on the performance of the MSBR are given in terms of phenol and COD removal efficiencies.

An IMC-PID controller with Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm for MSBR core power control

Nuclear Engineering and Design, 2020
Abstract Internal Model Control (IMC) is a control strategy based on process mathematical model for controller design. The design idea of IMC is to parallelize the object model with the actual object, approximate the dynamic inversion of the model by the controller, and take the inverse of the minimum phase part of the model for a single variable ...

Research of MSBR as a Fuzzy Control Parameter in Sewage Treatment System

2011 5th International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedical Engineering, 2011
Modified Sequencing Batch Reactor is primarily an aerobic process in sewage treatment. The oxygen demand is relevant to organic matter degradation. Dissolved oxygen in reactor variation depends on concentration of water flow, aeration and sludge concentration.

Study on the Enhanced Bio-Denitrification in a Full-Scale WWTP with MSBR Process

Advanced Materials Research, 2012
According to the situation that the N and P indexes in the MSBR process of municipal wastewater treatment plant can’t meet the I-A wastewater discharge standards of China, the optimized operation parameters were put forward, including improving the sludge within the reflux ratio, opening the return ratio, increasing SBR hypoxia anoxic mixing time ...
