Almon-KL estimator for the distributed lag model
The Almon technique is widely used to estimate the parameters of the distributed lag model (DLM). The technique suffers a setback from the challenge of multicollinearity because the explanatory variables and their lagged values are often correlated.

The Minimum Shared Edges Problem on Grid-like Graphs
We study the NP-hard Minimum Shared Edges (MSE) problem on graphs: decide whether it is possible to route $p$ paths from a start vertex to a target vertex in a given graph while using at most $k$ edges more than once.

Channel Estimation and Optimal Pilot Signals for Universal Filtered Multi-Carrier (UFMC) Systems [PDF]
We propose channel estimation algorithms and pilot signal optimization for the universal filtered multi-carrier (UFMC) system based on the comb-type pilot pattern.

Sampling and Reconstruction of Graph Signals via Weak Submodularity and Semidefinite Relaxation
We study the problem of sampling a bandlimited graph signal in the presence of noise, where the objective is to select a node subset of prescribed cardinality that minimizes the signal reconstruction mean squared error (MSE).

Stabilization of L‐PBF Ni50.7Ti49.3 under low‐cycle loading was investigated. Recoverable strain after cycling was dependent on the amount of applied load. Recovery ratio was 53.4% and 35.1% at intermediate and high load, respectively. The maximum total strain reached 10.3% at a high load of 1200 MPa.

Performance of Some Yang and Chang estimators in Logistic Regression Model. [PDF]
In logistic regression models, the maximum likelihood (ML) method is always one of the commonly used to estimate the model parameters. However, unstable parameter estimates are obtained as a result due to the problem of multicollinearity and the mean ...
