Distribution of mitochondrial MT-RNR1, MT-TL1, MT-TS1, MT-TK and MT-TE genes variants associated with hearing loss in Southwestern China

International Journal of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology
Maternally inherited hearing loss has been associated with mitochondrial genes, including MT-RNR1, MT-TL1, MT-TS1, MT-TK and MT-TE. Among these genes, MT-RNR1 is known to be a hotspot for pathogenic variants related to aminoglycoside ototoxicity and nonsyndromic hearing loss.

MOIR/MT

Proceedings of the VLDB Endowment, 2009
Floating Car Data (FCD) provides an economic complement to infrastructure-based traffic monitoring systems. Based on our previous MOIR platform [5], we use FCD as the data source for large-scale real-time traffic monitoring. This new function brings a challenge of efficiently handling of streaming data from a very large number of moving objects. Server

NTW-MT

Proceedings of the 3rd ACM SIGSIM Conference on Principles of Advanced Discrete Simulation, 2015
This paper describes a parallel discrete event simulator, Neuron Time Warp-Multi Thread (NTW-MT), developed for the simulation of reaction diffusion models of neurons. The simulator was developed as part of the NEURON project and is intended to be included in NEURON. It relies upon a stochastic discrete event model developed for chemical reactions. NTW-

Sleep-wake characterization of double MT₁/MT₂ receptor knockout mice and comparison with MT₁ and MT₂ receptor knockout mice.

Behavioural brain research, 2013
The neurohormone melatonin activates two G-protein coupled receptors, MT1 and MT2. Melatonin is implicated in circadian rhythms and sleep regulation, but the role of its receptors remains to be defined. We have therefore characterized the spontaneous vigilance states in wild-type (WT) mice and in three different types of transgenic mice: mice with ...
