Traceable Metamorphic Test Cases for Robust Safety‐Critical Systems: A Deep Learning LiDAR Object Detector Example

open access: yesSoftware Testing, Verification and Reliability, Volume 36, Issue 3-4, May–June 2026.
Metamorphic testing faces the challenge of providing a traceable argumentation for why a certain metamorphic relation (MR) was chosen. We propose a methodology to create MRs by linking them to defect hypotheses. We identify eight defect‐based MRs and show how failures can be prioritized by adjusting test evaluation parameters.

Bovine Tuberculosis in Raw Milk: A Herd‐Level Prevalence Study by PCR and ELISA Testing in Sylhet Region of Bangladesh

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 3, May 2026.
This study reveals the prevalence of bovine TB from vendor's milk and herd‐level testing using molecular approach: PCR and ELISA test highlighting the risk factor dynamics that shape bovine tuberculosis (bTB) occurrence in Sylhet region of Bangladesh. The findings advance understanding of bTB for diagnostics and surveillance strategies.

Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms of Growth Hormone and Insulin‐Like Growth Factor‐1 Genes and Their Association With Growth Traits of Goats: A Systematic Review

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 3, May 2026.
This study found that insulin‐like growth factor‐1 (IGF‐1) and growth hormone (GH) genes were vital for animal growth and might be used as a potential molecular marker for the genetic improvement of growth traits in goats. Four of the articles found an association between GH genotypes and BW.

Flux and Isotopic Composition of Sedimentary Carbon Subducting Along the World's Trenches

open access: yesGeochemistry, Geophysics, Geosystems, Volume 27, Issue 5, May 2026.
Abstract Here we provide comprehensive estimates for the subducted sedimentary flux of inorganic and organic carbon and δ13C at 16 trench segments worldwide. Our calculations provide minimum (incoming sediment), maximum (trench fill) and best estimates (underthrust) of carbon fluxes.

Achieving effective medicines governance: guiding principles for the roles and responsibilities of Medicines and Therapeutics Committees in Australian hospitals

open access: yesInternal Medicine Journal, Volume 56, Issue 5, Page 888-892, May 2026.
Abstract Robust medicines governance is an essential component of good clinical governance for health service organisations. Standardisation of hospital medicines governance supports consistency in clinical care and equity in medicines access for patients both within those hospitals and at transitions of care.
