Multitrophic alpha and beta diversity of lake plankton across Canada
Anthropogenic environmental changes impact freshwater biodiversity globally. While biodiversity assessments in freshwater environments have traditionally focused on individual groups of organisms or trophic levels, considering patterns of ‘multitrophic biodiversity' across the food web provides a more comprehensive view of anthropogenic impacts and ...

A hybrid all‐solid‐state battery (ASSB) is implemented by integrating a thin‐film electrolyte on a bulk anode, and a thick cathode sheet. A densified anode substrate with suppressed porosity is prepared by cold pressing. Thin‐film electrolyte is fabricated onto the bulk substrate via co‐sputtering and infrared‐based rapid annealing.

Ambient, Bias‐Free, Green Nanoparticle Synthesis via Microdroplet‐Confined Galvanic Chemistry
Confined galvanic reactions within sprayed microdroplets drive the direct growth of metal nanoparticles on conductive surfaces under ambient conditions. Eliminating the need for external bias and thermal input, this approach offers a simple route toward more sustainable nanoparticle synthesis.

Large Single‐Crystalline n‐Type SnS Flakes by Vapor Transport Growth With In Situ Bi Doping
Controlled doping is often complicated in compound semiconductors that are auto‐doped by native point defects. Here, this problem is addressed for SnS, a layered semiconductor with ubiquitous p‐type doping by Sn vacancies. Substitutional incorporation of Bi switches the material to n‐type conduction with high electron mobility, promising for pn ...
