Investigation of a Micromixer for the MTPV System

Key Engineering Materials, 2011
In this paper, a micromixer used in micro thermo photovoltaic system (MTPV system) is simulated and fabricated. The optimal structure parameters were investigated by computational fluent dynamical software (CFD),during the simulation, three main parameters n,τ and δ were introduced to studied on the influence of the mixing intensity .

Online Optimal Tracking Method for Interior Permanent Magnet Machines With Improved MTPA and MTPV in Whole Speed and Torque Ranges

IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 2020
This article proposes a new online optimal tracking method with improved maximum torque per ampere (MTPA) and maximum torque per volt (MTPV) considering magnetic core saturation. The conventional optimality criteria for MTPA and MTPV do not consider magnetic core saturation, and therefore results in deviation from the optimal trajectory especially at ...

A Calibration Strategy for EV Drives Based on Improved MTPV Table Decoupled from Permanent Magnet Flux Linkage Variation

2020 IEEE Vehicle Power and Propulsion Conference (VPPC), 2020
Nowadays, interior permanent magnet synchronous machines (IPMSMs) are widely used in electric vehicles. The maximum torque per volt (MTPV) is a conventional control strategy for motor control. It is a collection of current operating points that have the maximum torque corresponding to different stator flux linkages and can be used to maximize the motor

Effects of Viscosity-Variation and Viscous Dissipation in Microchannels of the MTPV Systems

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013
Heat transfer and fluid flow in the microchannel cooling passages of plane cell type MTPV systems are numerically investigated. The Finite Volume method is adopted for the governing equations discretization; The SIMPLE method is applied to deal with the linkage between pressure and velocities.

Hexagon voltage manipulating control (HVMC) for AC motor drives operating in the maximum torque per voltage (MTPV) region

2015 IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition (ECCE), 2015
This paper proposes a controller design method for ac motors operating under the maximum torque per voltage (MTPV) condition to explore the available inverter voltage. The control algorithm is developed based on a hexagon voltage manipulating control (HVMC) method to select a truncated output voltage command satisfying the maximum torque generation ...

Simulation of Flow and Heat Transfer in the MTPV Systems

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013
Flow and heat transfer characteristics in the microchannel cooling passages with three different types of the MTPV systems are numerically investigated. Reynolds ranged from 100 to 1000 and hydraulic diameter from 0.4mm to 0.8mm. The steady, laminar flow and heat transfer equations are solved in a finite-volume method.

Flux Observer-Based MTPF/MTPV-Operation With Low Parameter Sensitivity Applying Deadbeat-Direct Torque and Flux Control

IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, 2021
Through a combination of flux and current observers, deadbeat-direct torque and flux control for interior permanent magnet synchronous machines has preferred features comparing to the existing current vector control (CVC). These include simpler flux weakening control, less parameter sensitivity with increasing speed due to the Gopinath-style flux ...
