Cross-Layer Optimization for Heterogeneous MU-MIMO/OFDMA Networks [PDF]
To enable the full benefits from MU-MIMO (Multiuser-Multiple Input Multiple Output) and OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) to be achieved, the optimal use of these two technologies for a given set of network resources has been ...

Proportional Fair MU-MIMO in 802.11 WLANs [PDF]
We consider the proportional fair rate allocation in an 802.11 WLAN that supports multi-user MIMO (MU-MIMO) transmission by one or more stations. We characterise, for the first time, the proportional fair allocation of MU-MIMO spatial streams and station

An efficient binary salp swarm algorithm for user selection in multiuser MIMO antenna systems [PDF]
The past ten years have seen notable research activity and significant advancements in multiuser multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) antennas. An MU-MIMO antenna system must accommodate many subscribers without additional bandwidth or energy.

Capacity Optimal Coded Generalized MU-MIMO
With the complication of future communication scenarios, most conventional signal processing technologies of multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) become unreliable, which are designed based on ideal assumptions, such as Gaussian signaling and independent identically distributed (IID) channel matrices.

LDPC Coded Multi-User Massive MIMO Systems With Low-Complexity Detection
We design a low-density parity-check (LDPC) coded multi-user (MU) massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system with an iterative joint detection and decoding (JDD) algorithm.

Gyre Precoding for MU-MIMO Systems
This work introduces Gyre Precoding (GP), a novel linear multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) precoding approach. GP performs rotations of the symbols of each spatial layer to optimize the precoding performance. To find the rotation angles, we propose a near-optimal, gradient descent–based low-complexity algorithm.
