Solution to Asymptotic Stability in Tracking Control of Nonlinear Systems With Control Input Differentiation, Actuator Dynamics, and Saturation Constraints

open access: yesIET Control Theory &Applications, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
The work delivers a rigorous mathematical framework for asymptotic tracking in nonlinear systems that explicitly include control‐input derivatives, actuator dynamics, and input saturation, with Lyapunov‐based proofs establishing convergence and robustness under their coupled effects.

Joint Scheduling and ARQ for MU-MIMO Downlink in the Presence of Inter-Cell Interference

open access: yes, 2010
User scheduling and multiuser multi-antenna (MU-MIMO) transmission are at the core of high rate data-oriented downlink schemes of the next-generation of cellular systems (e.g., LTE-Advanced). Scheduling selects groups of users according to their channels

Matched Filtering in Massive MU-MIMO Systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
<p>This thesis considers the analysis of matched filtering (MF) processing in massive multi-user multiple-input-multiple-output (MU-MIMO) wireless communication systems. The main focus is the analysis of system performance for combinations of two linear processers, analog maximum ratio combining (MRC) and digital MRC.

FDA‐MIMO Range and Angle Estimation Based on Hybrid Tensor Ring and CP Decomposition

open access: yesElectronics Letters, Volume 62, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
The graphical abstract illustrates the RMSE performance of range and angle estimation versus SNR for different array configurations. The proposed method consistently achieves lower estimation error than existing approaches and closely matches the Cramér‐Rao bound across the entire SNR range, demonstrating its superior accuracy.

BER Performance of Spatial Modulation Systems Under a Non-Stationary Massive MIMO Channel Model

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
In this paper, the bit error rate (BER) performance of spatial modulation (SM) systems is investigated both theoretically and by simulation in a non-stationary Kronecker-based massive multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) channel model in multi-user (MU)

MU-MIMO RFID: Proof of Concept

open access: yes2024 IEEE International Conference on RFID (RFID)
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is often used in high tag density scenarios where tag read rate becomes a limiting factor. Current Class 1 Gen 2 (C1G2) RFID systems are limited in read rate by the Framed Slotted Aloha (FSA) scheduling algorithm and physical layer modulation parameters. We propose a multi-user MIMO (MU-MIMO) RFID system compatible

Low‐Complexity DOA Estimation: Combining VSSLMS With FFT Spectrum Estimation

open access: yesElectronics Letters, Volume 62, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This letter presents a novel, low‐complexity framework for DOA estimation. The proposed method achieves a significant reduction in computational complexity—from O(ML) to O(M log L)—compared to conventional SSE methods. Crucially, as illustrated in the accompanying figure, the method maintains high estimation accuracy, outperforming standard SSE‐based ...

A 3D Non‐Stationary Wideband GBSM for Low‐Altitude UAV Channels in Rail Environments

open access: yesIET Microwaves, Antennas &Propagation, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This paper presents a three‐dimensional (3D) wideband non‐stationary Geometry‐Based Stochastic Channel Model (GBSM) for low‐altitude unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) communications. Distinct from existing modelling frameworks, the proposed model integrates air‐to‐air (A2A) and air‐to ground (A2G) scenarios into a generalised channel model. Moreover, a two‐

Channel estimation for massive MIMO TDD systems assuming pilot contamination and flat fading

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking, 2018
Channel estimation is crucial for massive massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems to scale up multi-user (MU) MIMO, providing great improvement in spectral and energy efficiency.

On Out-of-Band Emissions of Quantized Precoding in Massive MU-MIMO-OFDM

open access: yes, 2017
We analyze out-of-band (OOB) emissions in the massive multi-user (MU) multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) downlink. We focus on systems in which the base station (BS) is equipped with low-resolution digital-to-analog converters (DACs) and orthogonal ...
