Primary retroperitoneal mucinous cystadenocarcinoma

Cancer, 1988
A case of primary retroperitoneal cystadenocarcinoma is presented as the fourth reported case in the world literature to date. The cyst was removed intact and demonstrated an infiltrating malignant process with nuclear pleomorphism and mitotic activity. No ovarian tissue was identified and a cancer antigen 125 (CA 125) test was normal.

Mucinous Appendicular Cystadenocarcinoma and Pregnancy

American Journal of Perinatology, 2001
Primary appendicular adenocarcinoma is rare. We report an unusual mucinous appendicular adenocarcinoma during pregnancy. To our knowledge, this is the second reported case in the literature. A mucinous appendicular cystoadenocarcinoma was discovered unexpectedly and coincidentally during a cesarean section performed in term pregnancy.

Simultaneous Mucinous Cystadenoma of Ovary and Mucinous Cystadenocarcinoma of Pancreas

International Journal of Gastrointestinal Cancer, 2000
Mucinous cystic tumors were discovered synchronously in the tail of the pancreas and in the right ovary of an adult female. Both tumors were amenable to surgical resection. The pancreatic tumor was a noninvasive mucinous cystadenocarcinoma and the ovarian tumor was a mucinous cystadenoma.

Aspiration cytodiagnosis of mucinous cystadenocarcinoma of the pancreas

Pathology, 1993
A case of mucinous cystadenocarcinoma of the pancreas is described in which the cytodiagnosis was made from aspirated material which was obtained under computed tomography (CT) guidance. The case presented further supports the view that aspiration cytodiagnosis of mucinous cystadenocarcinoma (an uncommon pancreatic tumor) can be made with confidence ...

Mucinous cystadenocarcinoma in combination with hemangiosarcoma in the ovary

Pathology & Oncology Research, 1999
The ovary is the sixth most frequent site of cancer in women in Denmark with an incidence of approximately 600 cases per year. Carcinomas predominate whereas sarcomas are rare. We describe a case of the combination mucinous cystadenocarcinoma and hemangiosarcoma in a 37-year old woman, who had a right-sited oophorectomy because of a cyst.

Mucinous cystadenocarcinoma of the retroperitoneum.

Obstetrics and gynecology, 1977
A case of a primary retroperitoneal mucinous cystadenocarcinoma of ovarian type found at laparotomy in the presence of two normal ovaries is described. Careful examination of the tumor showed no evidence of ovarian tissue in the wall. The appearance of this tumor could be traced from areas of benign mucinous cystadenoma, through a mucinous tumor of ...
