Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, 2000 Bronchoscopy in a 4.5-year-old girl with recurrent pneumonia showed an exophytic endobronchial mass. Biopsy disclosed microscopic and ultrastructural features of a low-grade mucoepidermoid carcinoma. Complete cure was accomplished by surgical removal of the tumor and right lower lobe.
