Mucoepidermoid Carcinoma of the Liver

This first case of mucoepidermoid carcinoma of the liver to be reported was discovered in a 44-year-old man with an 8-month history of fever, vomiting, weight loss (15 kg.), and pain in the right hypochondrium. A right hemihepatectomy disclosed a 15 cm. tumor located above the gallbladder bed.

Mucoepidermoid carcinoma of the thymus is a rare carcinoma and there is little agreement about the treatment of this tumor. According to the analysis of previously reported tumors, biologic behavior of the tumor correlated with the spread of the lesion and degree of differentiation. We report a case of this tumor in a 31-year-old man.

To report a case of mucoepidermoid carcinoma, a highly aggressive variant of conjunctival squamous cell carcinoma.We examined and treated a 57-year-old man with mucoepidermoid carcinoma of the caruncle, a highly unusual site for this tumor.In the past, simple excision of this tumor has been followed by rapid recurrence.
