Intracranial mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma

Journal of Clinical Neuroscience, 2010
Primary central nervous system lymphomas are a rare lymphoid tumor. A small proportion of these lymphomas are low-grade B-cell lymphoma of the mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) subgroup. A primary MALT-lymphoma of the dura is very rare, with only a few reports.

[Mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue-derived (MALT) lymphoma].

Revue de pneumologie clinique, 2016
Pulmonary Mucosa-Associated Lymphoid Tissue (MALT)-type lymphoma is the most frequent primary pulmonary lymphoma. We report the case of a patient who presented a pulmonary MALT-type lymphoma treated with chloraminophen, with a recurrence 5 years later characterized with pulmonary lesions associated with a gastric location.

Mucosa-Associated Lymphoid Tissue Lymphomas

2003
Abstract Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL) of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract accounts for 4% to 20% of all NHL, making the GI tract the most common extranodal site of NHL presentation. Most of these lymphomas arise from mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT).

Mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma.

Seminars in hematology, 1999
A distinctive type of low-grade extranodal lymphoma recapitulates the cytomorphologic features of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT). Typically, these MALT lymphomas arise from sites normally devoid of lymphoid tissue, but are preceded by chronic inflammatory, usually autoimmune, disorders that result in the accumulation of lymphoid tissue.

Mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma

2016
Abstract: In this literature review, an overview of the current knowledge of MALT lymphoma in man is provided. Where appropriate, attention is paid to the presence of the lesion in veterinary medicine. Lymphomas of the mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) may originate from lymphoid tissue that is induced in the mucosae.
