Salivary Gland Mucosa‐Associated Lymphoid Tissue–Type Lymphoma From Sjögren’s Syndrome Patients in the Majority Express Rheumatoid Factors Affinity‐Selected for IgG

open access: yesArthritis & Rheumatology, 2020

Breaking Boundaries: Chronic Diseases and the Frontiers of Immune Microenvironments

open access: yesMed Research, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The immune microenvironment includes immune cells, cytokines, extracellular matrix, vesicles, etc. The interactions between these components form a unique local immune microecology. Although immunity serves as the defense against external pathogens, aberrant immune activation often contributes to disease development.

Indolent lymphoma: the pathologist's viewpoint [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Indolent lymphomas have recently been the object of numerous studies, which have focused on new aspects relevant both for the better comprehension of their histogenesis and the identification of new therapeutic strategies. As marginal-zone lymphoma (MZL)

Multiple Colorectal Mucosa-Associated Lymphoid Tissue Lymphoma Successfully Treated with Chemotherapy

open access: yesCase Reports in Oncology, 2021
The standard treatment for colorectal mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma has not yet been established due to the rarity of the disease. Here, we report a case of long-term response to chemotherapy for colorectal MALT lymphoma (stage I).

Human cancers over express genes that are specific to a variety of normal human tissues [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
We have analyzed gene expression data from 3 different kinds of samples: normal human tissues, human cancer cell lines and leukemic cells from lymphoid and myeloid leukemia pediatric patients. We have searched for genes that are over expressed in human cancer and also show specific patterns of tissue-dependent expression in normal tissues.

Malignancies and immunoglobulin G4‐related disease

open access: yesRheumatology &Autoimmunity, EarlyView.
Immunoglobulin G4‐related disease (IgG4‐RD) is associated with increased cancer risk. Malignancies affect both IgG4‐RD involved organs, such as the lung, pancreas, bile duct, and prostate, and noninvolved organs, such as the gastrointestinal duct. B‐cell neoplasms constitute a proportion of the malignancies linked to this disease.
