Zebrafish xenograft models as a fast platform for metastasis diagnosis and cisplatin response of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma

A zebrafish xenograft model accurately distinguishes metastatic from non‐metastatic HNSCC and recapitulates cisplatin sensitivity/resistance patterns. ABCA1 deficiency‐induced cholesterol accumulation aggravates colonic epithelial injury in knockout hamsters

Animal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
We established ABCA1‐knockout Syrian golden hamsters as a novel and physiologically relevant model for colitis research. When challenged with a high‐fat diet, ABCA1‐deficient hamsters developed exacerbated colonic inflammation and impaired mucosal barrier integrity, driven by intracellular cholesterol accumulation.
