ABSTRACT This study investigated the antimicrobial, antibiofilm, and insecticidal properties of wintergreen (Gaultheria procumbens L.) essential oil (GPEO). The EO was chemically characterized by GC–MS, confirming methyl salicylate as the predominant compound (99.3%).

Phytochemical Profiling and Antibacterial Activity of Moroccan Monofloral Honeys Against Multidrug‐Resistant Uropathogens: In Vitro, ADMET, Molecular Docking, and Molecular Dynamics Approaches

Multidrug‐resistant bacteria infections require alternative antimicrobial strategies. This study evaluated the phenolic composition, antibacterial activity, and in silico properties of four Moroccan monofloral honeys. Carob honey showed the greatest phenolic diversity, whereas citrus honey contained the lowest polyphenolic content.

Large Regional Variation in Global Impacts of Agriculture on Terrestrial Insects and Other Arthropods

We show that impacts of agriculture on arthropod biodiversity are notably less negative in Europe than in other regions, which we find is driven by a degraded baseline, a selection bias of reference sites, and novel species compositions in agriculture that favour widespread habitat generalists and non‐native species.

Detecting Antibiotic Resistance in Strains of Selected Gram‐Negative Bacterial Species Using Raman Spectroscopy

Raman spectroscopy successfully identified antibiotic‐resistant Gram‐negative strains. Resistant strains of four bacterial species were discriminated from sensitive ones with 99.1% accuracy using PLS regression. The method allows for rapid, label‐free detection of antibiotic resistance.
