Anisotropy coefficients of a Mueller matrix
Anisotropy coefficients α, β, and γ that describe the type and the relative amount of the three kinds of anisotropy generally present in a Mueller matrix are introduced. Their derivation, algebraic properties, and physical interpretation are discussed.

Presented is an error analysis and correction scheme for observed or measured Mueller matrices. The method quantifies the error in the Mueller matrix elements and allows for the calculations of corrections to all 16 elements of that matrix. The method is

Structured decomposition design of partial Mueller matrix polarimeters
Partial Mueller matrix polarimeters (pMMPs) are active sensing instruments that probe a scattering process with a set of polarization states and analyze the scattered light with a second set of polarization states.

Snapshot Mueller matrix spectropolarimeter
Optics Letters, 2007We present a new snapshot technique for performing spectrally resolved Mueller matrix polarimetry. The basic approach is an extension of the channeled spectropolarimetry technique, employing frequency-domain interferometry to encode polarization information into modulation of the spectrum.
