Mueller Matrix Polarimetry with Invariant Polarization Pattern Beams [PDF]
A wide class of nonuniformly totally polarized beams that preserve their transverse polarization pattern during paraxial propagation was studied. Beams of this type are of interest, in particular, in polarimetric techniques that use a single input beam ...

Mueller-Polarimetry of Barley Leaves II: Mueller Matrix Decompositions
This paper highlights the application of decomposition methods in Mueller polarimetry for the discrimination of three groups of barley leaf samples from Hordeum vulgare: Chlorina mutant, Chlorina etiolated mutant and Cesaer varieties in the visible ...

Mueller matrix polarimetry with 3D integral imaging [PDF]
In this paper, we introduce the Mueller matrix imaging concepts for 3D Integral Imaging Polarimetry. The Mueller matrix of a complex scene is measured and estimated with 3D integral imaging. This information can be used to analyze the complex polarimetric behavior of any 3D scene.

To study the Mueller matrix polarimetry for the characterization of wood and Teflon flat samples [PDF]
In our manuscript, we carry out the Mueller matrix polarimetry for the characterization of wood and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) or Teflon flat samples.

Dynamic Mueller matrix polarimetry using generalized measurements [PDF]
Mueller matrices provide a complete description of a medium’s response to excitation by polarized light, and their characterization is important across a broad range of applications from ellipsometry in material science to polarimetry in biochemistry, medicine and astronomy.

Time-resolved Mueller matrix imaging polarimetry
We present a new method of time-resolved Mueller matrix imaging polarimetry for spatial and temporal characterization of the polarization effects in backscattering from turbid media. The technique allows measuring the time evolution of spatially varying polarization patterns of diffusely backscattered light with picosecond resolution.

Synthetic Mueller Imaging Polarimetry [PDF]
The transformation of the state of polarization of a light beam via its linear interaction with a material medium can be modeled through the Stokes–Mueller formalism.

Mueller matrix polarimetry of bianisotropic materials [Invited]
Mueller matrix polarimetry is a powerful optical technique for characterization of both anisotropic and bianisotropic materials. This review emphasizes methods for the interpretation of measured Mueller matrices, from the meanings of matrix symmetries, to ab initio calculations of Mueller matrices that begin with Maxwell’s equations operating on ...

Full Poincaré Mueller Polarimetry Using a CCD Camera
A new method is proposed to perform Mueller matrix polarimetry using a Full Poincaré beam (i.e., a non-uniformly polarized beam presenting all polarization states across its section) as a parallel polarization state generator and a charge-coupled device (

Mueller Matrix Associated with an Arbitrary 4×4 Real Matrix. The Effective Component of a Mueller Matrix [PDF]
Due to the limited accuracy of experimental data, Mueller polarimetry can produce real 4×4 matrices that fail to meet required covariance or passivity conditions.
