Sexuality and Reproduction of Mugilidae
Mullets are gonochoristic or bisexual fi sh: this implies that individuals are either males or females. Normally, adult females are bigger than males, but there is no sexual dimorphism and thus it is impossible to externally distinguish between sexes.
