Veterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 6, November 2026.The ITS‐1 PCR assay detected 96.11% E. acervulina in coccidia‐positive faecal samples from commercial poultry farms. The sequence analysis revealed 15 genotypes and seven single‐nucleotide substitutions, indicating significant genetic diversity. This is the first report of molecular characterization of E. acervulina in Bangladesh.

Veterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 6, November 2026.A brucellosis outbreak was investigated in dairy cattle and farm workers. Among 83 cattle and 11 workers, Brucella abortus was molecularly confirmed using IS711‐PCR and sequencing. Infection was detected in 48% of cattle and 45% of workers, highlighting significant zoonotic and occupational risks.
