Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Academic Writing as “a Pandora′s Box”: EFL Undergraduate Students′ Voices

This study is aimed at exploring the extent to which EFL students use AI in academic writing and the positive and negative effects of AI usage on academic writing in a long‐term context. An explanatory research design was implemented in this study. This study involved 167 EFL undergraduate students from a university in Central Java, Indonesia.
