Number fluctuation laser velocimetry with multi-aperture

Photon Correlation and Scattering: Theory and Applications, 1992
The photon correlation function G(2)(τ) of scattered light from particles suspended in a solution is composed of three terms. By a suitable normalization it is written as where τ is the time interval and 〈N〉 the number of particles in the scattering volume.

Disparity Estimation for Image Fusion in a Multi-aperture Camera

2015
In this paper, an image fusion algorithm is proposed for a multi-aperture camera. Such camera is a worthy alternative to traditional Bayer filter camera in terms of image quality, camera size and camera features. The camera consists of several camera units, each having dedicated optics and color filter.

Multi-Aperture Speckle Interferometry for Deformation Measurement

Journal of Optics, 1996
We present a technique where in both in-plane and out-of-plane displacement components of the deformation vector can be sensed simulataneously with comparable sensitivjties and the information retrieved later. Detailed theoretical and experimenlal results are presented.

Fourier Multi-Aperture Emission Tomography (FMET)

IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science, 1980
(1-9) for achieving tomographic images of distri butions of nonpositron-emitting radionuclides have been suggested. These techniques have had only a modest clinical success. We present here an ap proach that attempts to overcome one of the prim cipal problems associated with techniques in which the detector does not lie in the tomographic plane ...

On ship signatures in multi-aperture SAR images

IET International Conference on Radar Systems (Radar 2012), 2012
Ship signatures in various types of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imagery have been studied by many researchers. A new perspective is added by using multiaperture SAR due to its unique ability to measure target motion. In particular, certain notorious focusing artifacts are better explained and largely corrected. (6 pages)

Multi-Aperture Sensors For Precision-Guided Munitions

SPIE Proceedings, 1987
A multi-aperture sensor concept has been developed as a solution to the U.S. Army and Air Force's need for a class of low-cost, adequate performance optical sensors capable of generating detection and tracking information for precision-guided munitions. The Honeywell multi-aperture sensor consists of a number of small apertures. Behind each aperture is

Multi-Aperture Synthesis Radar Comparative Study.

1995
Abstract : This document is the final report for the study on the Multi-Aperture Synthesis Radar (MASR) concept. This report includes a description of the MASR system architecture, two point designs, and a performance comparison between the MASR concept and the existing SAR-P system.
