Multi–Band Programmable Gain Raman Amplifier [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Lightwave Technology, 2021
Optical communication systems, operating in C-band, are reaching their theoretically achievable capacity limits. An attractive and economically viable solution to satisfy the future data rate demands is to employ the transmission across the full low-loss spectrum encompassing O, E, S, C and L band of the single mode fibers (SMF).

Multi-Band-SWIFT [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Magnetic Resonance, 2015
A useful extension to SWIFT (SWeep Imaging with Fourier Transformation) utilizing sidebands of the excitation pulse is introduced. This MRI method, called Multi-Band-SWIFT, achieves much higher bandwidth than standard SWIFT by using multiple segmented excitations (bands) of the field of view.

Synthesis of multi‐band filters based on multi‐prototype transformation

open access: yesIET Microwaves, Antennas & Propagation, 2021
In this article, a new synthesis method for generalized multi‐band filters has been proposed. Different from the traditional frequency transformation method, which transforms a low‐pass prototype into a multi‐band filter, multiple low‐pass prototypes ...

Son of X–Shooter: a multi–band instrument for a multi–band universe [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of Frontier Research in Astrophysics – III — PoS(FRAPWS2018), 2018
Son Of X-Shooter (SOXS) will be a new instrument designed to be mounted at the Nasmyth–A focus of the ESO 3.5 m New Technology Telescope in La Silla site (Chile). SOXS is composed of two high-efficiency spectrographs with a resolution slit product 4500, working in the visible (350 - 850 nm) and NIR (800 - 2000 nm) range respectively, and a light imager
