Multi-band combined LNA and mixer

2008 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS), 2008
In this paper we investigate the performance of the multi-band low noise amplifier (LNA) based on the concept of using multiple cascode transistors for band selection; thus, avoiding switches in the signal path. We also show that this circuit can perform mixing of two signal bands with two different local oscillator frequencies, which provides great ...

Wide/Multi-band Linearized TWTAs

2007 IEEE International Vacuum Electronics Conference, 2007
This paper will discuss the state of the art in achieving wideband linearization of TWTAs. Multi octave bandwidth linearization has been achieved at frequencies from L through Ka-band. The trades between using a single predistortion linearizer and multi-band linearizers will be discussed.

Multi-band automatic speech recognition

Computer Speech & Language, 2001
This paper presents a new architecture for automatic speech recognition systems which is characterized by the division of the spectral domain of the speech signal into several independent frequency bands. This model is based on the psycho-acoustic work of Fletcher (1953) who proposed a similar principle for the human auditory system. Jont B.

Multi-band miniaturized slot antenna with multi-band impedance matching circuit

Proceedings of 2014 3rd Asia-Pacific Conference on Antennas and Propagation, 2014
This manuscript describes the design and implementation of miniaturized slot antenna with two-stage impedance matching circuit for 800MHz and 2GHz up and down link multiband application. The impedance matching circuit is based on the 2-stage band-pass filter (BPF).

Multi-band Monte Carlo method using anisotropic-analytical multi-band model

1996 International Conference on Simulation of Semiconductor Processes and Devices. SISPAD '96 (IEEE Cat. No.96TH8095), 2005
Fabrication of Si MOSFET's with a 0.1-/spl mu/m order gate length has now started. The Monte Carlo (MC) method is recognised as the most powerful simulation technique for devices of this size. In this paper we propose a new anisotropic-analytical band model, and we develop a multi-band MC simulator using this model to investigate hot carrier transport ...

Multi-Band Sampling

1996
Abstract Furthermore, these intervals are to be separated by gaps which a.re themselves intervals of positive length. It will be recalled from Definition 6.19 that such a function is called multi-band.

Multi-band Polarization Imaging

2016
Establishing a multi-band polarization imaging system is the premise of acquiring accurate multi-band polarization information. However, the acquired polarization and spectral data can be noisy and less accurate in the sensing process due to the factors such as dark current, positioning error, and the transmittance in different wavelengths.

Multi-Band Fourier Synthesis of Ocean Waves

Journal of Graphics Tools, 2012
Abstract We present an algorithm for generating animations of the ocean surface under deep-water conditions. The approach is based on statistical ocean wave models and relies on Fourier synthesis. We divide the range of wave numbers into several relatively narrow bands and perform the final synthesis in the spatial domain.

Design of concurrent multi-band matching networks

2011 IEEE International Symposium of Circuits and Systems (ISCAS), 2011
A general technique for synthesis of concurrent multi-band matching networks is proposed. The proposed design technique can be adapted to any matching strategy (noise match or conjugate match using L-match, П-match or any other topology), for multiple frequencies.
