Multi Band Antenna Design for Mobile Devices
2019 International Symposium on Intelligent Signal Processing and Communication Systems (ISPACS), 2019A laser direct structuring (LDS) antenna for multiband operation covering the GSM-850/900, GPS, DCS-1800, PCS-1900, UMTS-2100, WLAN-2400, LTE-2500 bands in the 5G communication devices is presented. The proposed antenna achieves this by exciting the antenna's wide radiating plate.

Multi-band Antenna for Handheld Devices
2015 Fifth International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies, 2015In this paper, an antenna design has been proposed which supports multi-band frequency ranges for handheld devices i.e., WLAN (5.2 GHz), Bluetooth (2.4 GHz), etc. The input impedance of the antenna is 50a#x03A9;. FR4 is used as a substrate having permittivity 4.4.

Multi-band MIMO antenna for wireless devices
Proceedings of the 2012 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation, 2012A compact printed triple band multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO)/diversity antenna is proposed. The antenna consists of two elements with a size of 39×40 mm2 operating at 1.9 GHz, 2.4 GHz, and 5–6 GHz. The proposed antenna is suitable for IEEE801.11n and PCS applications.

A planar multi-band antenna for portable devices
2006 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium, 2006In this paper, a broad band printed antenna has been described and its measured performance has been provided. Two symmetrical patches, each of which is composed of two half ellipses sharing a common axis, have been used to realize the broad band characteristics.

The multi-band monopole antenna for USB devices
2015 Asia-Pacific Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility (APEMC), 2015In this paper, a multi-band monopole antenna for Universal Serial Bus (USB) dongle applications is proposed and examined. The antenna is fabricated on an FR4 substrate of permittivity of 4.4, thickness of 0.8 mm, and loss tangent of 0.0245.The antenna consists of a bent monopole and an inserted strip horizontally.

Design of quarter-wave multi-section multi-band devices
ICECom 2013, 2013We present a method to design quarter-wave multi-section lossless devices which, in principle, works whatever the requested reflection/transmission spectrum may be. Some examples are reported confirming that our method allows to obtain devices exhibiting a reflection spectrum which can be considered a valid approximation to the requested one for both ...

Multi-band lte antenna for wearable devices
2017 Sixth Asia-Pacific Conference on Antennas and Propagation (APCAP), 2017Wearable devices have smaller PCB size compared with smartphones or tablet devices, which will bring difficulties in designing LTE antenna with low band coverage. This paper presents two multi-bands LTE antennas for wearable devices with LTE low band coverage.

A Compact Multi-band PIFA Antenna for Mobile Devices
2012 International Conference on Computer Science and Electronics Engineering, 2012A simple compact multi-band planar inverted-F antenna(PIFA) for mobile devices is presented. The particular shape of the proposed PIFA patch is a compact rectangle with several slits. These slits separate the patch into two resonant paths, generating two bands of about 900 and 1800MHz. The obtained bandwidth covers CDMA, GSM, DCS1800, and PCS1900 bands.
