Intelligent Sky Guardians (InSkyGuard): An Aerial Robotic Swarm for Autonomous Detection and Entrapment of Rogue Multirotors

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Intelligent Sky Guardians (InSkyGuard) is introduced as a four‐drone swarm that autonomously detects, tracks, and safely captures rogue drones using a coordinated net system. Computer vision and leader–follower control architecture enable synchronized enclosure, while integrated failsafes enhance system reliability. Validated through closed‐environment

Sustainable Materials Design With Multi‐Modal Artificial Intelligence

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Critical mineral scarcity, high embodied carbon, and persistent pollution from materials processing intensify the need for sustainable materials design. This review frames the problem as multi‐objective optimization under heterogeneous, high‐dimensional evidence and highlights multi‐modal AI as an enabling pathway.

Expansion of Cell Range With Geometric Information of Pico Cell for Maximum Sum Rate in Heterogeneous Networks [PDF]

open access: yesRadioengineering, 2018
In this paper, taking the positions of pico-cell base stations (PBSs) into consideration, a scheme of cell range expansion (CRE) for maximum sum rate is addressed in heterogeneous multi-input multi-output multi-user wireless networks.

Optimal Mode Selection in D2D-Enabled Multibase Station Systems [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Communications Letters, 2016
In this paper, we consider device-to-device (D2D) communication underlaying uplink cellular networks with multiple base stations (BSs), where each user can switch between traditional cellular mode (through BS) and D2D mode (by connecting proximity user), namely mode selection. We impose load balancing constraints on BSs to efficient resource usage. The

Ultra‐Radiostable Covalent Conformationally Interlocked Networks Enabling a Universal Radiometal‐Labeling Platform for Cancer Radioembolization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Conjugated poly(imide dioxime)‐based microspheres establish a radiometal coordination‐driven conformational interlocked network with ultra‐high radiostability. This platform enables low‐temperature, multi‐radionuclide labeling for SPECT/PET/MRI imaging and radionuclide therapy. Mechanistic insights from EXAFS and DFT reveal enhanced stability, while in

Anisotropic Memristive Switching in NbOCl2 Enabled by Directional Oxygen Ion Migration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study investigates strongly orientation‐dependent memristive switching in anisotropic NbOCl2, observed exclusively along the in‐plane c‐axis. The switching originates from direction‐selective oxygen‐ion migration and vacancy propagation that modulate the Pd/NbOCl2 Schottky barrier, enabling short‐term plasticity.

Advanced sleep modes in 5G multiple base stations using non-cooperative multi-agent reinforcement learning

open access: yes, 2023
International audienceWe consider in this paper multiple 5G base stations (BSs) implementing Advanced Sleep Modes (ASM) wherein each base station is able to deactivate some of its components when it does not transport any traffic and save thus energy ...
