Journal of Futuristic Sciences and Applications, 2021Cascade multilevel inverter (CMI) is the most efficient option for medium-voltage, high-power applications. Higher than usual interest is being paid to CMI in comparison to the more commonplace two-level inverter because of its reduced voltage pressure on the switching electronics, higher harmonic performance, and better voltage quality.

2017 IEEE PES Asia-Pacific Power and Energy Engineering Conference (APPEEC), 2017This paper presents multi-carrier based pulse width modulation scheme for multimodular matrix converter (MMMC). Presented work proves full bridge indirect matrix converter (FIMC) topology as the subset of 3 Ć 1 modular (MMMC) and thereby any modulation scheme suitable for FIMC topology can be reproduced for MMMC topologies.
