Investigate on a Simplified Multi-Port Interline DC Power Flow Controller and Its Control Strategy

open access: yesEnergies, 2019
A DC power flow controller (DCPFC) can help to facilitate power flow routing in the multi-terminal high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission system.

Current Harmonic Mitigation Using a Multi-Vector Solution for MPC in Six-Phase Electric Drives

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
Multiphase machines offer some interesting features to develop more-competitive electric drives. However, the control complexity increases due to the higher number of freedom degrees. Specifically, the regulation of secondary currents becomes critical to

Harmonic quality of multilevel cascade inverters with random carrier phase pulse width modulation

open access: yes, 2004
The output harmonic quality of N series connected full-bridge dc-ac inverters is investigated. The inverters are pulse width modulated using a common reference signal\ud but randomly phased carrier signals.

All‐in‐One Analog AI Hardware: On‐Chip Training and Inference with Conductive‐Metal‐Oxide/HfOx ReRAM Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

Analysis and Control of Switching Circulating Currents in Multi-Module Parallel SPWM Converters

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
High-frequency switching circulating currents are inevitable in multi-module parallel connected converters, which will result in increased power losses and declined system stability, reliability and control precision.

Optoelectronic Synaptic Devices Using Molecular Telluride Phase‐Change Inks for Three‐Factor Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

Cone-structured seven-level boost inverter topology for improvising power quality using online monitoring controller scheme for DSTATCOM application

open access: yesFrontiers in Energy Research, 2022
In this article, a seven-level triple-time voltage-boosting topology (8S7L-TTB) is proposed, which has eight switches as the minimum. This topology is used as DSTATCOM to eliminate power-quality issues.

Three-Phase Symmetric Cascading Z-Source Seven Levels Multilevel Inverter Excited by Multi Carrier Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation Scheme

open access: yesInternational Journal of Innovative Technology and Exploring Engineering, 2019
The Multilevel Z sources Inverter have been documented as attractive topologies used for elevated voltage adaptation. As the digit of levels improved, the synthesized set of steps output waveform have many ladder, imminent the preferred sine waveform but the major weakness of MLI be its amplitude of ac output voltage is imperfect to DC input sources ...

Pulse-Width Modulation of Z-Source Inverters

open access: yes, 2005
Z-Source inverters have recently been proposed as an alternative power conversion concept as they have both voltage buck and boost capabilities. These inverters use a unique impedance network, coupled between the power source and converter circuit, to ...

Receptor‐Free Identification of Toxic Gases Enabled by Hygroscopic Aqueous Salt Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Water as a gas sensor coating sounds impossible—until it stops evaporating. Here, hygroscopic salt solutions (LiCl, LiBr, H3PO4) form non‐drying aqueous films on CNT chemiresistors under ambient air. Gases partition into these liquid layers, sometimes transforming into water, and generate salt‐specific resistance fingerprints across a four‐channel ...
