Multi-Constellation Software-Defined Receiver for Doppler Positioning with LEO Satellites. [PDF]

open access: yesSensors (Basel), 2020
A Multi-Constellation Software-Defined Receiver (MC-SDR) is designed and implemented to extract the Doppler measurements of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite’s downlink signals, such as Orbcomm, Iridium-Next, Globalstar, Starlink, OneWeb, SpaceX, etc.

Optimized Selection of Satellite Subsets for a Multi-Constellation GBAS [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Technical Meeting of the The Institute of Navigation, 2016
In the next generation of Ground Based Augmentation System (GBAS) corrections and integrity parameters for two frequencies and multiple constellations will be provided. However, the capacity of the VDB (VHF Data Broadcast) link providing those parameters to users is strongly limited.

Multi‐constellation ARAIM exploiting satellite motion

open access: yesNAVIGATION, 2020
In this work, a new time-sequential positioning and fault detection method is developed for dual-frequency, multi-constellation Advanced Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring (ARAIM). Unlike conventional “snapshot” ARAIM, sequential ARAIM exploits changes in satellite geometry at the cost of slightly higher computation and memory loads.

Kinematic Precise Point Positioning Using Multi-Constellation Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Observations

open access: yesISPRS International Journal of Geo-Information, 2017
Multi-constellation global navigation satellite systems (GNSSs) are expected to enhance the capability of precise point positioning (PPP) by improving the positioning accuracy and reducing the convergence time because more satellites will be available ...

Multi-constellation GNSS scintillation at mid-latitudes [PDF]

open access: yes2017 XXXIInd General Assembly and Scientific Symposium of the International Union of Radio Science (URSI GASS), 2017
Radio wave scintillation can result in severe channel fading and random phase variations that can interfere with the performance of a radar, communication or GPS system. While it is well known that Ionospheric scintillation occurs within the high and low latitude regions, there has been minimal research done within the middle latitudes. However, recent
